Downtown St. Petersburg
In Downtown St. Pete you'll find a plethora of restaurants and bars. Along Beach Drive are many upscale & trendy restaurants serving Italian, Irish, American, and Indian cuisine as well as a couple of ice cream spots! Many bars can be found along Central Avenue closer to the Bay, as well as a couple of restaurants further down Central.
Boutiques are on the rise in Downtown St. Pete! In the newly renovated Sundial, you'll find multiple boutiques as well as a couple chain stores such as LuluLemon & Chicos. Take a stroll down Beach Drive and you'll find a couple more shops selling shoes, clothes, jewelry, and art. Just across Tampa Bay are two large shopping malls (International Mall & Westshore Mall) with all of the chain stores you can imagine! Just south of St. Pete are the Ellenton Outlets as well.
Downtown St. Pete is home to the Rowdies men's soccer team & the Rays MLB team. Just across the Bay you'll find the Lightning and Buccaneers. Check out a game or take a walk in one of the many waterfront parks along Tampa Bay. St. Pete Parks & Rec maintains over 2,400 acres of parkland & multiple nature preserves as well as dog parks, skate parks, public pools, tennis courts, softball & baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, boat ramps, and playgrounds.
In Downtown St. Pete you'll find numerous clubs as well as trendy lounges to hang out in. In the spring, Tampa hosts Sunset Music Festival as well as Big Guava Music Festival! St. Pete is a top destination for many performers because of the many great concert venues such as Janus Live! and Amalie Arena in Tampa.
