Mike Zito
I completed my BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee after spending my first two college years at The Pennsylvania State University. I began my career in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, obtaining my first real estate license in 1975, in order to utilize it to buy and sell investment properties. After making several corporate relocation moves (working for a large pharmaceutical company), I obtained my second license in North Caroline in 1994, doing all of this on part-time bases. I was able to provide all three of my daughters a significant college education all because of successful management of my investment property portfolio (at one time managing over 100 tenants)!
I transferred to Florida in 1998, and once settled, I once again obtained my Realtor status, after being a Realtor in Pennsylvania in the ’80s, and in North Carolina in the ’90s, I supported and supplemented my wife Debbie’s successful Real Estate business. During this time I was also a successful investor, buying and selling homes in the Florida market.
I have five grandchildren and enjoy playing golf, boating, tennis, and watching football. I have won several awards for singing karaoke. Debbie and I moved to the Broadwater neighborhood of St. Petersburg in 2008, after living in Ballast Point in Tampa for ten years. We truly know and love Tampa Bay!
